Finca Entre Rios is located 16km from the centre of Santa Marta in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, surrounded by mountains, rivers, natural swimming pools and waterfalls. Paso del Mango was once the Pre-Colombian village of Masinga and remnants of this culture abound. Today it is becoming a biological reserve with most of its properties dedicated to reforestation and preservation.
Finca Entre Rios is dedicated to the reforestation of the Río Manzanares river basin. 37% of Santa Martas fresh water comes from this river. Over the past 15 years we have planted 1000’s of native hardwood and tropical fruit trees. Our aim is to create a fully integrated permaculture based farm. A new chicken coop and beehives are planned for later this year.
